The current economic climate and energy concerns have resulted in ever increasing costs of doing business for all of us. Over the past several years as you have seen, costs continue to rise, both at the grocery store as well as with utility costs. The District has seen costs of fuel rise 47%, sewer treatment fees rise 9%, and insurance/health services rise by 36% just to name a few. Despite our best efforts to keep operating costs at their lowest possible levels, adjustments are now necessary for the District to keep operating efficiently.
